Encouraging Her Resilience: Chronicles of Faith and Recovery

Each month, we take a moment to honor the strength and resilience of one incredible woman who has fought her way through the darkness of addiction and found light in her recovery. Chronicles of Faith and Recovery is our way of celebrating YOU—the woman who has faced unimaginable challenges yet continues to rise with faith, courage, and the love of God. This page is dedicated to telling your story, lifting your triumphs, and showing just how proud we are of the woman you are becoming. To honor you, we will present you with a heartfelt gift: a beautiful gift basket, a $250 cashier’s check, and gift cards to remind you that your journey is seen, valued, and celebrated.

We know sharing your story takes bravery, and we want to create a space where your voice is heard and your journey is cherished. If you would like to be considered or know a woman whose story deserves to be told, we invite you to submit your story to us. Sharing your journey can inspire others, offering them the hope and encouragement they need to keep moving forward. This is your chance to be celebrated and recognized, and to let others know that recovery is possible. Send us your story—let us honor you and the beautiful resilience you carry.

My story is one of darkness, but also one of incredible light. I spent years caught in a spiral of addiction and mental illness, completely overwhelmed by the weight of it all. Crystal meth had a hold on me, and I battled with schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and bipolar disorder. I was in and out of mental hospitals, never finding peace, and I turned to sex addiction in search of relief from my deep feelings of worthlessness. My family couldn’t bear to watch me destroy myself, and they disowned me, leaving me feeling more isolated than ever.
